Watch butterflies
Published: Tuesday, May 6th, 2008
The screen room of the Elkton Community Education Center’s butterfly pavilion is alive with color during the summer. Volunteers and students keep milkweed, mallow and lantana plants alive so that two kinds of butterflies — Painted Ladies and Monarch — can thrive.
Later, they are released. Visitors are welcome. For info: Elkton Community Education Center, 15850 Highway 38 West, Elkton; (541) 584-2692;
