The Umpqua Dunes Trail, located near Lakeside, is just one of the many hiking trails in the area. The newly developed trail traverses Eel Creek on the west side of U.S. Highway 101 at Tugman State Park A couple easy hikes will take visitors around Hall and Schuttpelz lakes, across U.S. Highway 101 from Tugman State Park.
