Facilities: small boat ramp; nearby Tahkenitch Campground and Tahkenitch the Heart of the Dunes region The Western Douglas County area features several parks, campgrounds and boat ramps — perfect for spending a day fishing, hiking, swimming or simply relaxing. Many are provided by state and federal agencies; still others are hosted by private businesses. Regardless, there is something for everyone in the Heart of the Dunes. Here is a sampling. Other: One part of the 12-acre lake is visible from U.S. Highway 101.
