Open year-roundFacilities: restrooms, picnic tables, campground nearby Activities: camping, swimming at Lake Marie, spring fishing (stocked with rainbow trout); free-fishing weekend in June; Umpqua Lighthouse is within walking distance; hiking. Other: The 5-acre Lake Marie is part of the Umpqua Lighthouse State Park, which has a campground that includes 64 tent/trailer sites, water, flush toilets, showers and paved trails. The campground also has both rustic yurts and deluxe yurts; the deluxe yurts feature restrooms, kitchenettes, TV/VCR and beds. The former U.S. Coast Guard Station at the lighthouse is filled with historical displays. Directions: About 4 miles south of Reedsport, near Winchester Bay and the mouth of the Umpqua River.
