Reedsport - Hidden treasure! Walk the dike

One of the best walks in Reedsport is in the middle of town: the dike that surrounds lower Reedsport. Several locals know about it but few visitors take advantage of it. It’s an easy walk and a great way to get a fantastic view of Scholfield Slough, too. Park at the Visitor Center at the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and state Highway 38. The dike is on the north side of the parking lot.
