The Western Douglas County area features several parks, campgrounds and boat ramps — perfect for spending a day fishing, hiking, swimming or simply relaxing. Many are provided by state and federal agencies; still others are hosted by private businesses. Regardless, there is something for everyone in the Heart of the Dunes. Here is a sampling.
