Something fun is always happening in Winchester Bay. The Ocean Festival, held July 18-20, features a children’s parade, live music, arts and crafts booths, food booths and entertainment for young and old. It offers waves and waves of fun for anyone who wants to celebrate everything ocean.On August 22-23, the town celebrates Kool Coastal Nights with a classic car cruise, burnout and header contests, a seafood barbecue, a street dance and more. A week later, Art by the Bay is featured as artists work on their craft by the shores of the Umpqua River estuary. Artists work in all kinds of mediums and visitors can watch, ask questions and learn new techiqnues. |
